About Whitney

Hello, I'm Whitney! I was born and raised in St. Albert, Alberta. I graduated from the SLPA program at MacEwan University in 2017 and since then, worked in the education system with children of all ages. My love for being around children and helping others is what made me choose this career.

I have experience with working on various speech and language goals, in areas such as receptive/expressive language, articulation, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), literacy, motor speech disorders, social interaction, and more. I believe in a play-based therapy approach and prioritize meaningful connection with the individuals I work with. I love to incorporate sensory play and singing/music in to my sessions when I can.

In my free time, you can find me playing with my two little kids, reading, or baking sweet treats! I love to be creative, whether it is through something artsy, musical, or with cooking and baking.

I can't wait to meet you!
