About Danielle

Hi there, I’m so glad you are here, my name is Danielle. I am a registered Occupational Therapist working in Edmonton and the surrounding communities. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2018 and have been working to support children and their families across a variety of settings including; the home, community, and school ever since. My passion as an Occupational Therapist is to support children and families learn strategies and develop skills to support their participation in the daily activities that are meaningful and purposeful to them. I take a very client and family centered approach to my practice and work hard to understand the unique needs and strengths of each individual that I work with. I tailor my approach to meet all individuals and families where they are at and ensure that they feel heard and supported. Within my career, I have gained experience working on transdisciplinary teams to support children and their families in areas such as; feeding, toileting, sleep, participation in hygiene routines, dressing, sensory processing and emotional regulation. When not working along side families to achieve their goals and develop their skills, you will likely find my somewhere outside! I love to spend time tending to my garden, reading on my patio with my cat by my side, walking the trails in the river valley with my husband, or taking backcountry trips in the mountains! I cannot wait to collaborate and support you on your journey!
